CicLAvia presented by Metro returns with its Heart Of L.A. route, celebrating the centennial of UCLA. 6 miles of open streets thru Downtown Los Angeles, MacArthur Park, Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Arts District and Boyle Heights, Metro train friendly via most lines. Streets will be closed to cars and open for cyclists, pedestrians, runners and skaters to use as a recreational space with 4 hubs to rest, hydrate, eat, repair and enjoy. So great to see Metro Art artist Fabian Debora signing and passing out his “El Pueblo De Los Angeles” poster at the Metro Hub. Art workshop Dark Victory by LACI AIR and Elana Mann using eco-friendly black pigment by Nature Coating at the MacArthur Park Hub. Next and final CicLAvia of the year will be The Valley on December 8th. Thank you volunteers and staff for another great ride, looking forward to the next.
