Today, I finally had a chance to return back to see the Giant Robot Biennale 3 (September 23rd – January 20th) at JANM (Japanese American National Museum). I was there for the opening night, but was DJing the entire time till closing. I ran into Eric Nakamura of Giant Robot as he was filming a short documentary on artist Sean Chao. Featuring the works of Rob Sato, Deth P. Sun, Ako Castuera, Eishi Takaoka, Saelee Oh, Sean Chao, Albert Reyes, David Horvath, Jeni Yang and Zach Gage. Included was the Project Remix Art Works created by Eric Nakamura, a collaboration customizing of David Horvath Ugly Dolls and the Giant Robot Big Boss vinyl figure, with over 80 artists from 7 countries involved.
