Visiting L.A.’s largest event for comics, gaming, anime, cosplay and pop culture, L.A. Comic Con (December 1st – 3rd) held at the Los Angeles Convention Center with over 800 artists and vendors selling comics, collectibles, art, toys, apparel and so much more. Metro rail friendly via the Blue and Expo line. Join over 126,000 diverse and passionate fans taking over both convention halls with over 250 panels & programming featuring the Ahsoka, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Lord of the Rings panels on the Main Stage, hosted by personalities from Fandom and GameSpot. Great to see DJ Lance Rock and Ego Plum (pictured above). Radio station KROQ hosting “Friday Night Live” with music guests Logic and Clown (Slipknot). Cosplayers compete for $30,000 in cash and prizes in the 8th Annual National Cosplay Championship. The West Hall, center for all the gaming and anime action with Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter tournaments. I even got to build a Gundam RX-78-2 model at the Gundam Base Mobile Tour booth.
