A final chapter for Straight Outta Little Tokyo, a multi generational celebration of old school music to help benefit and support the Terasaki Budokan with Little Tokyo Service Center held at the newly completed Terasaki Budokan. Metro rail friendly via the Expo line. Hosted by MC E, Aaron Takahashi and DJ K-Sly. Amazing live performance by The Sugarhill Gang (pictured above) with DJ Diamond. Special reunion and tribute to Little Tokyo’s very own Oiwake’s restaurant and bar located in the Japanese Village Plaza. Featuring the 1st annual Streets Of Budokan “Best Of The Best” classic car show from old to new. Other live performances and events included the B-Boy Battle with DJ Puffs, Jason’s Doughball memorial, LA Clippers Spirit, LA Rams Cheerleaders, Elemental Funk, Chazzu-Sama, Kaze Jones and raffle presented by the Nisei Week Court. DJs Icy Ice, Oggy, Lloyd Honda, Russ-T, Mista Fista, Nino and Vance keeping the beat and dance floor going all night long. Thank you to all the volunteers, staff, sponsors, artists and talent for making Straight Outta Little Tokyo happen again.
