DESIGNER CON

Thanks to the fine peeps of Designer Con (D-Con) for hooking up a press pass for me to attend this years annual event held at the Pasadena Convention Center (November 9th – November 10th). With over 300 vendors of vinyl figures, designer toys and pop art, you’re gonna need both days to see everything and bring lots of money. It was awesome to see all the big and small names here representing with D-Con exclusives and SDCC left overs, hehe. The Sucklord even had a whole stage set up with a pink couch for his live Suckathon, funny stuff. If you didn’t get to go to SDCC, this is the next big thing, maybe even better in my opinion, it’s less commercial with a chill vibe and a more intimate experience. Pre-sale tickets are only $5. or $7. at the door, what a bargain. Parking is available at the convention center, but I found free street parking a few blocks away. Again, thank you D-Con and staff for having me and a job well done, I had a super time and hope to return again next year.
