I’ve always wanted to see a replica of the Mach 5 from the anime series Speed Racer and today I finally got a chance. On display at the Petersen automotive museum and part of the Fins: Form Without Function (February 23, 2013 – February 2, 2014) exhibit. I’ve read that this Mach 5 built in 1999 is the closet and very true to the anime. Many of the vehicles in this exhibit were my favorites. Hope you get a chance to visit.
