This evening, I was invited by Eric Nakamura of Giant Robot to attend the 29th LA Asian Pacific Film Festival (May 2nd – May 12th) opening held at the Directors Guild of America. Eric is also one of the film jurors for this fest. For opening night film honors, the Jeremy Lin documentary Linsanity, directed by Evan Leong was shown with a Q&A following the film. Afterwards, the opening night party begins, with lots of food, drinks and music. It was really great to see the support from the Asian American community and to meet the many talented peeps help make it happen. Please support the event where you can.
