Today, I was so fortunate to join Eric Nakamura of Giant Robot to film footage for an upcoming documentary on the super talented artist Edwin Ushiro. Originally from Maui, Edwin came to California to attend Art Center College of Design and attained a BFA in Illustration with Honors. His works are beyond amazing, breathe taking and really pulls me in, I can sometimes hear the laughter, hehe. Edwin is a super nice guy and I appreciate him for letting us in his studio and taking a peak into his world. Be sure to check out his coming show Supernatural (February 9th – March 17th) at JANM along with Audrey Kawasaki and Timothy Watters. Thank you Eric.
