If your a vinyl junkie like me and always on the look out for some classics and rare cuts on 12″ and 45’s, this is the place to be. The Beat Swap Meet traveling record show @ Grand Star Jazz Club in Downtown Los Angeles (Chinatown), is influence and alive by the DJ and hip hop community. Around 20 vendors selling mainly records, clothing, gear and art reflecting the hip hop culture. You can find a lot of “one of a kind” craft items here, such as hand made turntable iPod cases and different types of pop art. There is a $5.00 admission fee and your probably gonna have to pay for parking in a near by lot. You can just about spend the whole day there diggin in the crates, having lunch and listening to the 2 live DJ booths. Had a great time shopping and was happy to meet and speak with all of the down to earth people and vendors there. Thanks for the dope shirt Snagneto.
