Out growing it’s previous location Designer Con (November 16th – 18th) now held at the Anaheim Convention Center. Bringing together the best in pop culture artists, illustrators, crafts, toys and creators under one roof. Funko and Medicom team up with a cereal box, Vincent pin and Bearbrick figure collaboration, wow. Saturday night after party with Chevy Metal & John 5 and Friends. Highlights included the Giant Robot 25 Years panel, live turntablism showcases by DJ Revolution and DJ Qbert, and of course plenty of signing with exclusives available by the best in the industry. Check out Madrid Skateboards D-Con deck and Ha H. Mai D-Con shirt, so cool. Designing this years badge is Matt Gondek honoring the characters of Disney and designing this years coin is King Saladeen. Apparel in different forms and fashion by Johnny Cupcakes. As always, I have the best time visiting Designer Con and I’m already looking forward to the next.
