The new Metro LA Expo Line (Phase 2) officially opened today with free rides, Metro information and festivities at every stop. A 6.6 mile extension west of the Culver City station to Downtown Santa Monica. There are also bike and pedestrian lanes that follows along the light rails path. Don’t own a bike or have access to one, take advantage of the bike sharing programs now available. I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time and glad to see it’s finally here.
