Thanks to Ayleen and the awesome staff at Designer Con (D-Con) for having me cover this event again this year. This will be my second time attending D-Con and it’s bigger then ever, held at the Pasadena Convention Center (November 8th – 9th). D-Con is an annual convention of art and design, from toys, apparel, pop art, collectables and more, with a little something for everyone. I was really surprise in the large amount of vendors, attendees and space, almost double then last year. The first thing you’ll see when walking in, is the huge AD-AT by Bill McMullen, in all it’s awesome glory and the D-Con characters. It was great to finally meet designers Mad L from Detroit, Bigfoot One from San Fransisco and Touma from Japan. I noticed that many other designers from Japan, like Uamou, were also there representing. As always, it was great to see my friends from all over who are work in different areas of this industry doing their thing, so cool. Shout out to Steve and Jessica at Enkyskulls for the dope shirt! Thanks again to D-Con and will hopefully see you next year.
Peace!
