Went to the first ever Universal Fan Fest Nights (April 25th – May 18th) held at Universal Studios Hollywood. Metro Rail friendly via the B Line. Brought to you by the creators of Halloween Horror Nights. Where science fiction, fantasy, anime, and gaming collide in one epic after hours celebration with experiences inspired by Star Trek, Back to the Future, Dungeons & Dragons, One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen. You can also enjoy theme park favorites The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Super Nintendo World (limited hours). Lots of interactions throughout the park, including live entertainment, cosplay and photo opportunities. Themed foods and drinks, specially curated to enhaces the famdom expereince, plenty of exclusive merch as well. Star Trek: Red Alert, a walk through adventure of chaos aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, on a interstellar mission ending at the original bridge set featured in Star Trek: Picard, then being safely transported home. After, stop by the 10 Forward Bar and Qurak’s Cafe for food and refreshments. Jujutsu Kaisen: Hunger of the Cursed, a seated anime movie theater experience, all the way from Universal Studios Japan. We choose to dine at Mels Diner to try the Flux Capacitor Patty Melt and Time Machine Melt, both were delicious. Back to the Future: Destination Hill Valley, take the “Fan Tram” to the back lot and immerse yourself on the original filming location. Start off at the Lyon Estate monuments, then venture towards Courthouse Square for the Hill Valley Festival, including actor reenactments from the movie, the DeLorean time machine with Einstein, The Enchantment Under the Sea” dance, and the stunning recreation of the Clock Tower lightning strike. Dungeons & Dragons: Secrets of Waterdeep, collaborating with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, join the Harpers, to explore the fantastic world of D&D, and save the city of Waterdeep from Xanath. One Piece: Grand Pirate Gathering, guests can meet and greet, and participate in themed interactive photo ops with different characters from the global hit anime series.
